Nicotine sulfate is a salt of Nicotine and sulfuric acid. It is extensivly used for fruit and vegetable gardens. Nicotine sulfate is miscible in all proportions in water at all temperatures. Nicotine Sulfate is usually sold in the form of 40% Nicotine Sulfate. It is a dark brown, heavy aqueous solution containing 40% nicotine. Nicotine is used largely against soft bodied sucking insects. Nicotine sulfate is also used to produce pure nicotine. |
